Burma Democratic Concern has the firm determination to carry on doing until the democracy restore in Burma.

Demonstration in front Burmese Embassy

Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) had organized the demonstration in front Burmese Embassy on Resistance Day and in front of the Foreign Common Wealth office along with FBE-UK.

The purpose are:

(1) to reject regime's planned sham 2010 election
(2) to work to realise 1990 election result.



Our key demands include:

-the EU strengthens the Common Position, including banking and financial sanctions, and sanctions stopping European companies providing insurance in Burma,
-the EU does more to pressure the military regime to free all political prisoners in Burma,
-the EU rejects the military regime’s 2010 elections and sham 2008 constitution in the present form,
-the EU does more to encourage reconciliation and tripartite dialogue without delay,
-the EU does more to challenge the dictatorship to immediately stop all human rights abuses in Burma.




Distributing pamphlets inside Burma

Burma Democratic Concern ,FBE and the best manure had distributed the pamphlets inside Burma,demanding

(1) The four main principles demanded by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
(2) Open Letter to Burmese Soldiers
(3) Urging Burmese citizens to work together to restore democracy
